2. Products and Pricing

• We sell lavender-infused shampoos, conditioners, and body washes formulated without parabens and colorants.

• All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice.

• While we make every effort to display our product images and descriptions accurately, actual packaging or product color may vary slightly.

3. Hospitality & Guest Amenities (Bulk Orders)

• For B&B, hotel, and vacation rental bulk orders, lead times for production and delivery may apply. These will be communicated to you upon order confirmation.

• Cape Calm Botanics is not liable for how hospitality establishments store or present the products to their end-guests once delivered.

4. Orders and Payment

• An agreement of sale between Cape Calm Botanics and a user only comes into effect once electronic payment has been successfully received and cleared into our account.

• We accept payments via EFT.

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (e.g., due to stock unavailability or suspected fraudulent activity).

5. Shipping and Delivery

• We deliver across South Africa using third-party courier services.

• Delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Cape Calm Botanics is not liable for any loss or damage suffered due to delayed delivery by the courier.

• Risk in the products passes to you (or your designated guest/establishment) upon delivery to the specified address.

6. Cooling-Off Period, Returns, and Refunds

In accordance with South African law:

• ECT Act Cooling-Off Period: Under Section 44 of the ECT Act, you are entitled to cancel an online purchase within 7 days of receiving the goods, without penalty or reason. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

• Hygiene Exception: Please note that due to the nature of personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), we cannot accept returns on items that have been unsealed, opened, or used, unless the product is defective.

• Defective Goods: Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), if a product is defective or damaged upon arrival, please notify us within 6 months of delivery to arrange a replacement or refund.

7. Product Use and Allergies

• Our products contain natural lavender essential oils. It is the user's (or hospitality guest's) responsibility to check the ingredient list for potential allergens.

• Cape Calm Botanics cannot be held liable for adverse skin reactions, allergies, or misuse of our products by customers or hospitality guests.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, images, text, and product names, is the property of Cape Calm Botanics and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
